Waiting

Psalm 27:14
Wait for the LORD, be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

I expect Him to show up when I am ready. Ok, I've got a half hour in the morning... that's all you get... and sometimes I may be too tired to show up... or I might sleep in and do it a little later... I can pretty much come up with a slew of excuses why I might not be there.
How arrogant am I?????
Just like waiting to see an important person (doctor, president, etc.) - you wouldn't go into the castle demanding to see Him - you would sit and wait. But I am so bent on living MY life. I come when it is convenient for me - whether He is there or not.
While waiting I will praise Him.
